Scope
These rules apply to anyone attending a Flow Design training course, for its whole duration. When the course takes place at a client’s premises, the client’s health and safety rules also apply.
Health and safety
Trainees follow the safety and evacuation instructions of the venue. Alcohol, illegal substances, smoking and vaping are not allowed in the rooms. Any accident or incident is reported to the trainer at once.
Discipline
Times are those given in the invitation; any absence or lateness must be justified. Trainees sign the attendance sheet every half-day. Breaches include not keeping to the times, any behaviour that disrupts the course or disrespects others, and any damage.
Sanctions and safeguards
Depending on its seriousness, a breach may lead to a warning, a reprimand, or temporary or permanent exclusion. No sanction is taken without informing the trainee of the complaint and hearing them; permanent exclusion is notified in writing with reasons. The employer and any funder are informed.
Representation, accessibility and complaints
Delegates are elected only for courses over five hundred hours; otherwise trainees raise any point directly with the trainer or Flow Design’s founders. Disability officer: Victoire Baulme, reachable at victoire@getflowdesign.com. Complaints procedure.
