Overall objective
Move from a client request to a stated, shared need, by running the discovery conversation yourself.
Assessable objectives
- take a client request apart to separate the requested solution from the need;
- run a discovery conversation with a client;
- restate the need as situation, problem, impact.
Audience and prerequisites
- Audience: consultants, product managers, designers and project leads.
- Prerequisites: working with internal or external clients, and bringing a real or recent request.
Duration, format and group size
- Duration: 3 hours.
- Format: in-house, in person, at your premises; venue set out in the quote.
- Group size: 4 to 8 participants.
Methods and assessment
Short inputs, role plays on real requests brought by participants, feedback from the trainer and the group. Assessment runs through the session, with several forms participants fill in at each stage; a satisfaction survey closes the course. A certificate of completion is given to each participant.
Lead time and price
- Lead time: 45 days between the signed quote and the start of the session. If your OPCO funds the course, apply for funding as soon as the quote is signed.

- Funding: can be funded by your OPCO through a Qualiopi-certified partner organisation; we confirm this in the quote.
